Trimming the Fur

Grooming

At this time, Alie is focusing on servicing existing clientele and will no longer be accepting new clients. Thank you for  understanding.

Prices are determined based on size, coat type and coat condition.

Alie suggests grooming dogs every 4-8 weeks depending on the breed, coat type, and owner preference.

Puppies should start at 8 weeks of age to get
acclimated to grooming. These are referred to as "mini" grooms. Starting a puppy out early creates a routine and positive association with grooming. Mini grooms include bath, ear cleaning/plucking, nail trimming, blow dry, brush out, trimming around the eyes, feet and paw pads, and sanitary shave.

All grooming services include: bath, blow dry, brush out, ear cleaning/plucking, nail trimming, feet and sanitary trim (where applicable).

Additional Services:

  • Nail grinding- filing down of the nails after trimming to make them shorter, rounder, and smoother. Great for dogs that jump, are less active, live in homes with hardwood flooring, or have leather furniture.

  • Teeth brushing- Poultry flavored enzymatic toothpaste is used, that dogs love, which helps fight tartar build up. Good oral hygiene is especially important for dogs with smaller mouths, as they are more prone to dental disease.

  • Conditioning treatment- adds extra softness and hydration to your pets coat. Conditioner helps with dogs who shed frequently and also helps to control and prevent tangles from forming on longer haired dogs.

  • Flair- add bows or a bandana to finish and make any style look extra special.

  • Additional de-matting and de-shedding services available.
